The page, with its lettering erased.

Every bubble, sound effect and caption is found and painted out of the art. You get the clean pages as a ZIP, with the translated script beside them, ready for your own letterer.

Where it falls short

The honest version, so you can decide.

We are in beta. Every line stays editable, so a miss is a quick fix, not a blocker.

  • Cleaning covers what was found: a missed sound effect stays on the page.
  • Text drawn across busy artwork is inpainted, not restored. Expect to touch up the hard ones.
  • Cleaning runs after translation today, so a clean-only chapter still pays for the script.

Questions

What people ask first.

How is the text removed?
Lettering on a flat balloon is painted over in the balloon’s own colour. Lettering drawn across artwork or screentone is inpainted: the art behind it is rebuilt from what surrounds it.
Does cleaning change the rest of the artwork?
No. Only the places where lettering was found are changed. The page you uploaded is kept as it is, and the editor shows it beside the cleaned one.
What do the clean pages come as?
JPEG images in a ZIP, named in page order and at full size. The translated script comes with them as TXT or DOCX.
Is a page cleaned again when I edit a translation?
No. Cleaning depends on where the text was, not on what it says. Editing a line never cleans the page again and never costs credits.
