About

Comics deserve a translation tool that knows they're comics.

Point a general-purpose translator at a manhwa page and it gives you a wall of disconnected strings. It cannot tell a shout from a whisper, does not know that the name in panel four appeared in chapter three, and has no idea the text has to go back onto the artwork afterwards. We built the missing part.

CH. 01 · What we believe

The page is the unit

General translation tools treat a comic as a list of sentences. tinypica works on the page: which bubble, which panel, who is speaking. That is what a comic is.

Consistency beats cleverness

A slightly plainer line that matches chapter 3 is worth more than a brilliant one that renames the protagonist.

The human keeps the last word

Every line is editable, every page can be previewed, and nothing publishes itself. The tool does the tedious 90%.

Say what the thing does

No invented traction numbers, no logos we have not earned. If we struggle with dense sound effects, the site says so.
