What is new, and what is fixed.

New features and bug fixes, newest first.

  • New

    Animate any cover image

The Covers page can turn any image into a 2 or 4 second loop, whether or not it belongs to a project. Say in a few words what should move, download the loop as an MP4, or put it on a project as its cover.

  • New

    A Covers page

Every project's cover and each loop made from it in one place. Pick which one plays, download the cover or any loop, and delete the ones you do not want.

  • Fix

Animating a cover again keeps the earlier loop

Making a second animated cover used to replace the first, which had been paid for. Every loop is now kept until you delete it.

  • New

Try a page without an account

Drop one comic page on the home page, pick a language and get it back translated and lettered, to compare and download. Three pages a day, no signup.

  • New

Quick translate takes its own settings

Type, languages, how far to go, reading direction and model can be set for each upload instead of following the workspace defaults.

  • Fix

No empty workspace while projects load

Home and Projects wait for the project list before deciding there is nothing to show, so the first-run screen no longer flashes on every visit.

  • New

    Quick translate

Upload pages and run them without creating a project first.

  • New

    Workspace defaults for new projects

Set the target languages, model, process step and reading direction once in Settings. New projects, and projects created through the API, start from them.

  • New

    Animated covers

Turn a series cover into a 2 or 4 second loop from the project's settings.

  • New

    Public API and webhooks

Create API keys, upload chapters and download the translated files from your own tools, and get a webhook when a chapter is done. The developer docs are at /docs, and every request and delivery is logged in the app.

  • New

Series info, written from your chapters

A project can write its own series profile from the chapters it holds: a summary, genres and who it is for. It goes into the CBZ export and is read before every later chapter is translated.

  • New

    Chapter summaries

Each chapter gets a short summary when it is translated, which the next chapter's translation reads so names and events carry over.

  • Fix

Damaged images are refused at upload

A file that is cut short or is not really an image is turned away when you upload it, instead of failing later in the run.

  • New

Stop at the step you need

A project can stop after the text is read, after translation, or after the pages are cleaned, and pays only for the steps it runs.
